- How do we make reservations for our wedding?
You can either call the chapel at 800-821-2452 or 702-739-7971 between 8am and 11pm Pacific Time, daily, or you can make reservations on our web site – all information is secure and encrypted. All online reservations require full, non-refundable payment and confirmation is made by a follow-up email within 48 hours.
- How much is the deposit?
Generally, your package is paid in full at the time of reservation. However, we may be able to work out a deposit, just call to arrange this with one of our wedding consultants.
- Is my deposit refundable?
Your deposit is a guarantee, which holds the chapel for your ceremony. Once scheduled, ALL payment is non-refundable. If, however, you should wish to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate your needs, provided the rescheduled time is available. If you wish to leave your rescheduled date/time open, we can accommodate that as well – your deposit amount will remain on account and will be applied upon your rescheduling. If you cannot make your reserved date and time, you must contact us prior to your ceremony, in order to reschedule or put your reservation on hold. If you do not show up for your ceremony at your reserved date and time, your deposit will then be forfeited.
- How much is the minister’s fee?
The minister’s fee is not included in any of the wedding or vow renewal packages and is required. The fee is $60-$100, as specified with each package, and is paid to the minister, in cash, at the time of your ceremony.
- Where do we obtain a marriage license?
The Clark County Marriage Bureau is open from 8am to 12am, every day of the year (yes, this includes weekends and holidays). The marriage bureau is in the Regional Justice Center building located at 201 Clark Avenue on the corner of 3rd and Clark in downtown Las Vegas. Both the bride and groom must be present and have valid photo identification (driver’s license, passport or military id). The cost is $60. No blood test is required, there is no waiting period, and previous divorce papers are not required. You MUST obtain the license before the wedding ceremony. You have the opportunity to apply online for your marriage license and then you will be able to go to the “fast lane” to pick it up. Click Here for more information.
- How long prior to the ceremony should we arrive?
Please arrive 15 – 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. Please check in at the office behind the chapel with your Nevada marriage license, and the minister’s fee. We will need a minimum of 15 minutes to get you checked in. If you arrive at your ceremony time, we will not be able to start your ceremony at your reserved time and you may lose your spot. Your guests should all be here 15 minutes prior to your ceremony. We are unable to delay your ceremony for late guests. Do you offer vow renewals and what is required? Yes, our vow renewal packages are the same as our wedding packages. You do not need to obtain another marriage license if you are already married, we will have you fill out a statement of marriage when you check in at the chapel office.
- How many guests can we have?
Our chapel seats up to 50 people. The maximum capacity is 75. Our Let’s Elope package is an elopement package that is designed for just the bride and groom. Any of our other packages can accomodate any number of guests. Our Little Garden of the West will seat up to 80, and being an outdoor venue, there is really no limit on the number of guests, as there is ample room for people to stand.
- Can we have a bridal party?
You are welcome to have a bridal party with any of the packages except the Let’s Elope package.
- Can we purchase flowers for our wedding attendants?
Yes, additional flowers can be ordered. Boutonnieres, bouquets, rose presentations and corsages are available. We have a full service floral shop on the premises and we can make anything that you need, including table centerpieces.
- How long does a ceremony last?
Depending on the package that you have, you could be in the chapel anywhere from 10 minutes to 60 minutes. This will include the ceremony and the photo session in the chapel.
- What if we don’t have a witness?
Don’t worry, we are happy to provide a witness for you, at no charge.
- What type of music is supplied?
For the packages that include music, traditional wedding music will be played.
- Is the chapel air conditioned?
Yes, the chapel is equipped with air conditioning and heat for your comfort, however, we do not have an indoor waiting area.
- Are there additional photos available besides the ones included in the package?
Yes, each package will detail what photos are included. You will have the opportunity to view your photos after your ceremony and can decide at that time to purchase additional photos. We also offer additional photo packages such as: Welcome to Las Vegas sign photos, studio photography, Las Vegas Strip photo tours and reception photography packages.
- May guests take pictures?
Yes, starting with the “Marry Me” package; guests may take photos during the ceremony from their seats, but not during our professional photo shoot after the ceremony.
- When do we receive our DVD?
If you ordered one, your DVD video will be given to you directly after the ceremony. If it is not included in your package, it can be added for $85.
- How should we dress?
We do not have a dress code; you are welcome to dress formal or casual. We do ask that you do wear clothes however – No birthday suits!
- Is there a place for us to dress?
We can reserve the bridal suite for the Forever True package. With the smaller packages, there is a $50 charge for the bridal suite, and this must be arranged prior to your ceremony.
- Can someone walk the bride down the aisle?
Yes, traditionally by her father or another member, if you wish. (The Let’s Elope package does not have music played and the bride and groom will enter together)
- Can we write our own vows?
Our ministers perform a beautiful ceremony, however you may include your own vows that you read to each other, starting with the “Marry Me” package. We will need to know this before your ceremony, and it will need to be kept to a short paragraph.
- Do you offer ceremonies in other languages besides English?
Spanish, French and German speaking ministers are available. This is based upon specific availability and must be requested at the time of your reservation. There is an additional fee of $100 for French speaking ceremony. There is no additional fee for a Spanish ceremony.
- Do you offer transportation?
We offer complimentary limousine service for couples that purchase the Lucky in Love or higher packages only (this is not available on holidays or “unique” dates). The limousines will seat either 6 or 12 passengers, depending on your package. Service is for pick up, wait, and return only, from your hotel on the Las Vegas Strip (gratuity is not included). This service MUST be requested at the time of your reservation and is subject to availability.
